Podcast Five 21/10/2007

Another week another milestone in gaming!

This week we talk about Portal, the Orange Box and Halflife History, ‘N’ for the PC, I review Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (which is awesome), we talk about MI5 and SplinterCell adverts, and whether An xbox360 with a built in HD-DVD drive will make our boxes obsolete. Also Halo is metioned (far far far to much)

Below is the link to “N”, which I mention this week. It’s an almost monochrome freeware platform game with a killer engine. It moves from being insultingly easy to insultingly impossible smoothly enough for you to barely notice your rising skill. And that’s a good thing.

…’course, this game is now well known enough to be the first result if you google “N”. Unlike Hammerfall, which I mentioned a while ago. Forgive Hammerfall’s crap English - you don’t really need to know what’s going on anyway.

Finally, Princess Maker 2, which is probably unlike any other game you’ve played. Wonderful idea, wonderfully executed.
