Hey there and welcome to another edition of the BEAT.British podcast.The boys have left me all alone now, so I’ve done a solo edition.

This week I talk about Lost Odyssey for the Xbox360 and my initial impressions, the next up and coming Retro-review,
Super Smash brothers Brawl and it’s delayed Europe release date (and Nintendo trying to appease the EU market with Mario Cart wii), Metal gear Solid having a worldwide release on June 11, The length of games and how they seem to be getting shorter and I finish by talking about the Wii online service and it’s flaws.

This week we had a special guest who said a few words and then decided to go and enjoy the peace and serenity of bed. Hangovers had taken over Joe, Nadia, and Edmund (our special guest). So shortly after Joes rant about ANOTHER red ringed xbox, Ed and I had an in depth discussion about GDC, going back to old games, top ten game lists (worst named, worst games etc..).We also talk about the new unreal engine update, and a whole lot more!
