NOTE! Due to the fact that I am a very stupid individual I attached the wrong podcast to the feed and so some of you may have had the wrong file, I am sorry and It won’t happen again.
Hello and Welcome to another BEAT.British Podcast!
Just Ed and Me this week.
This time we talk about Lost Odyssey it’s fantastic gameplay and story and it’s disk read errors. We pay our respects to Gary Gygax (rest in peace) creator of D&D and grandfather of the modern RPG. Consequently we talk about how D&D has effected games in the modern day. Stories vs Grinding. Crisis Core (which I mentioned on ‘The Grapevine‘, yesterday) -from this I talk about Final Fantasy VII and how awesome it is. Adventure games and how much we love them, and how they really were a big part of the early days of games.
we also had lots of random interruptions… (sorry)
Any comments post on the site (it’s free) or send us an email: theguys@beatbritish.co.uk
As always if you are viewing this through facebook, go to the website www.beatbritish.co.uk and subscribe to the itunes feed or listen to our podcast right here on the site.

So Toshiba and HD-DVD ‘Lost’ the High-Def disk format war. Toshiba bowed out last week and said that they would no longer be building for the format. What did this mean for gamers? Well firstly it ment that the PS3 wouldn’t be as useless as everyone thought, and second that Xbox360 owners who brought a HD-DVD add on, suddenly had a very expensive paperweight.
Reasantly the intertubes have been reporting more and more on Crisis Core for the PSP.
